My husband works a job that is very hot. He has come home today telling me that he got to hot a work, he was throwing up, he has not urinated all day ( he has been drinking a lot of Gatorade and water. At one point he became disoriented and black out for a few moments,Here is my question. Since he has come home I have made sure that he has had bananas for the muscle spams, but he is belching extremely bad. Could this be from throwing up and if so what can I do to help him? He also is weak .please help me...help him
Hi, Welcome to health care magic, I have read your husband's problem and understand the concern.
Belching is way of body to expel out air from stomach whether it is due to excess swallowed air or produced because of food digestion or acid reflux or gastritis etc.
In your husband's case,he could have dehydration for which he became disoriented and blackout for few moments.
give him plenty of fluids with fruit juices to maintan water and electrolyte balance.
Should eat high protein and easily digestive food rather than carbohydrates or fatty foods.
