Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good Morning I have been to the Doctor twice for sore eyes . Doctors says Conjunctivitis had two different antibiotic eye drops but still no improvement . I am going on holidays soon and would like to have no issues with my eyes while away. Do I need to return to the Doctor or is there something else I can do to resolve the issue? Thank You
Hi.. Welcome To HCM.. Since how long have you been suffering from conjunctivitis? There are viral and bacterial conjunctivitis which usually take around 1-2 wks time for complete recovery.. You can use the antibiotic eye drops along with lubricating eye drops for relief.. You have to maintain proper hygiene of your eyes so that the infection will not spread to others.. You can enjoy your holidays also.. Keep using the drops.. take care..
