Suggest Treatment For Congestive Heart Failure

My bf is in the hospital and was told today his heart was only functioning at 15%. he has been treated for the last two months for bronchitis that one dr said he had. which turns out it is CHF instead. he is being started on meds for this now.... will he be ok....... I AM SICK WITH WORRY

I can understand your worry.
his heart function is 15% mean remaining cardiac tissue unable to tolerate the overload .
definitely 2DEcho ,chest X ray will show the progress of disease ,,
antibiotic and diuretics are the main treatment which reduces the load over the heart as well as lungs &controls the lung disease
being an young age patient will survive ,with monitoring of other blood parameters like RFT ,CUE .CBP

regular follow up with chest x ray and 2 d echo will show u the improvement in disease

better avoid smoking and alcohol if he had

good environment ,good diet tension free situation will help the patient to live long ..

so don't worry he will recover ;
