Suggest Treatment For Cold Sores On The Face

I was in the last stages of a cold sore on my face, healed by still dry. Yesterday, I accidently splashed gatorade on the same side of my face while drinking from the bottle, all over my cheek and down my face. Lat night I developed a raised, red rash where the Gatorade hit my face. I had no access to soap and water when it happened and I m wondering if the gatorade caused the rash.

Hi dear ,

As per your query you had healing pimples with get raised again because of gatorade . Well the symptoms you mention in query probably occur due to allergic reaction from gatorade or skin reaction due to acidic content. I would suggest you to wash your face with mild soap and cold water , apply cold compresses to affected area and take antihistamine like bendryl . Continue your medicine . If condition doesn't improve or get exaggerated then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment .
