Suggest Treatment For Cold And Sore Throat

HI, My boyfriend is sick with cold like symptoms and not sure if its a cold or allergies he has to pet rabbits. It started with just in the morning he d cough alot and then spit out phflem . we read that sometimes allergies give you a sinus drip when you lay down and all that builds up til you get up and spit it up. Today and last night he coughed all night.. sore throat, miserable, MISERABLE!!! and not sure what to give him?? PLease HELP!!!

For allergy and cold take Tablet Levocetirizine 5 mg. This tablet helps you in cold allergy and also running nose.
If fever, headache or body ache is present with cold than take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg.
For sore throat, use phenol spray which is antiseptic and anti bacterial which will help in relieving pain.
Use cough drop and lozenges with menthol will stimulate saliva in mouth and will make the throat moist.
Do warm salt water gargles 3-4 times a day, will help in reducing swelling of your throat.
Take plenty of water,warm fluids and fruit juice, will help you in maintaining proper hydration.
Also take any cough syrup for relieving pain and to reduce symptoms.
If it seems to be associated with infection, consult your physician and take antibiotics.
