Mostly this is benign paroxysmal positional vertigo causing dizziness. Its cause is unknown. Symptoms recur repeatedly. Dizziness occurs when you change the position of your head with respect to gravity. Advice 1. Take bed rest for few days if fresh attack occurs 2. Cinnarizine 25 mg every 8 hours orally on fresh onset of dizziness until subsidence of symptoms 3. Betahistine 8 mg every 8 hours orally on fresh onset of dizziness until subsidence of symptoms 4. Clonazepam 0.5 mg at bed time for 30 days 5. Use two pillows when you sleep 6. Avoid sleeping on the affected side 7. Don’t turn your head far up or far down 8. You can use cervical collar for 1 month to stabilize head Thanks
