Suggest Treatment For Chronic Migraine Attacks And Nausea
I was diagnosed with chronic migraines. When I get them they will go away within 24hrs with rest. I have had this headach/migraine on the right side of my head for five days. I have taken all kinds of over the counter meds and it comes back. Nothing really takes the pain away it just lightens the pain. I m sick to my stomach, but I can still eat and keep it down. Have pains on my right side under the rib area however no fever. What could this be? Please help.

Suggest Treatment For Chronic Migraine Attacks And Nausea
Hi. I understand your concern . Migraine has young onset / episodic / throbbing in nature / unilateral / associated with nausea and vomiting . It occurs in episode interval. Acute migraine can be treated with medicine like paracetamol and diclofenac / sumatriptan / almotriptan / nasal spray etc. Best way is to prevent further episode . Prophylactic medicines like flunarizine / amitriptiline / topiramate / sod valporate / magnesium valporate etc can help. Investigation like EEG /fundus examination /CT scan / MRI will be useful to rule out other brain related pathology . I hope I have answered your concern . Still if you have a query then feel free to ask . Thank you .
