I read your query and I m sorry about the long standing issues you re experiencing. Regarding the prescribed drugs, I am not sure I agree with the combination. They are both antidepressants (sertraline and amitriptyline), belonging to different groups, but still with similar mechanism of action and side effects. Separately they make sense because both are used in prevention of migraine as well as fibromyalgia, it s their combination I am against due to likelihood of interactions. I can t speak for the exact diagnosis cause you don t provide enough data. Fibromyalgia is commonly a disorder producing generalised pain and tenderness, rather then just headache.
