Suggest Treatment For Chronic Diarrhea And Lower Intestinal Cramps

I a 45 year old white female non smoker nondrinker. I historically was super constipated, from both long term pain medication and neurogenic bowel. It was so stuck no commercial laxitive would work. Even golightly. I had to be hospitalized and given two enemas daily until I was clear. Now I ve moved to Louisiana in April and since o moved I started with constant diarrhea, for about a week, then I treated with ad medicine which only slowed it down. Now it is right after I eat I get severe lower intestinal cramps before I go, and really bad cramps as I feel the stool move through my intestines ( around my pancreas). I don t have my gallbladder.

Hello
Diarrhoea with abdominal cramps might be related to gut infection like gastroenteritis or food poisoning or mal absorption.

If I were your treating doctor I would have put you on Metronidazole group of antibiotics for 5 to 7 days

Along with this anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or esomeprazole with antacids or ORS solution.

You should take lots of fluids and fruits juices to maintain good hydration and to counter electrolytic imbalances.

If it doesn't improve than you have to see your doctor for stool test and an endoscopy if need be.
Hope this answers your question
