Suggest Treatment For Chronic Chest Pain

i have chest pain from last 1 year on my left side of chest near heart. I have done all my tests ETT,ECG etc etc but i cannot find that i have chest injury or what it is? my X-ray reports go chest are also perfect i don t know what problem i have and whenever i drink cold water it starts again and i think its due to my gym exercises which i left an year ago. please tell me the treatment of my chest pain..

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Since your extensive cardiac work up is normal, no need to worry much for cardiac cause for your chest pain.
Your chest x ray is also normal, so pulmonary cause is also ruled out.
In your case anxiety and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) can be the cause for chronic chest pain.
GERD is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms.
Anxiety can aggravate GERD. So proper treatment of anxiety is needed.
So we need to first rule out anxiety in your case.
Consult psychiatrist for this.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
