As per your complain acne or pimples can occur due to a number of causes like oily skin, clogged pores, bacterial infection, inflammation, hormonal imbalances etc.. As far as using birth control pills is concerned it can be helpful in reducing acne if they are due to hormonal imbalances otherwise they can cause harmful effects rather than useful effects, therefore should be used only after consulting a gynaecologist and getting a hormonal assy done.. Betnovate is a steroid cream and can initially clear the pimples but is not recommended for long term use due to a large number of side effects therefore if you want to use Betnovate you need to first consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated.. As of now you can use safer anti acne treatments like washing face with Salicylic acid containing facewash, applying Clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gels and also can apply Adapelene gel at night..
