Infectious Diseases Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
I understand your concern.
I am Dr. Arun Tank, infectious diseases specialist, answering your query.

In my opinion you should change the antibiotics.

Azithromycin can help you in chlamydia infection. Many a times Doxycycline may be resistant to treat the infection.

In such a case azithromycin may show a effect.

If you have chlamydia. Both the partner should be treated simultaneously. Also avoid sexual intercourse during this period. Because sexual intercourse may put the infection in both the partner in rotation.

Keeping hygiene by frequent cleaning can help you recover equally rapidly as with antibiotics.

I will be happy to answer your further concern, you can ask me on bit.ly/DrArun.
Thank you.
