Suggest Treatment For Child Having Cut And Bruise On Eyelid
My son was hit in his glasses yesterday from another kid's back of the head. My son has a cut on his eylid and his eyelid is very bruised and swollen as well as under the eye. He says it is painful and is starting to swell shut. What should I be worried or concerned about or just let it heal

Ophthalmologist consultation is advisable... Till then you can start icing till 24 hours from injury... It ll cause construction of.vessels & hence ll decrease entry of painful & Inflammatory mediators.,.. After 24 hours., start warm compression... It ll dilate vessels n lead to clearing of metabolic waste products...faster pain relief... Few drugs like Antibiotics & pain killers : NSAIDS... prescribed after consultation...
