Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain

I have a pain in my chest/lower esophagus. It hurts when I breath, drink any kind of liquid, and eat. I play softball, and recently had a root canal and have been taking antibiotics. Every time I take the antibiotics it hurts my throat and puts a stinging in my chest. I get dizzy often, and feel drained of energy some days even when I ve had a full nights rest. Sometimes my chest will just start throbbing, and have sharp pains for no apparent reason.

Hello! Thank you for asking on HCM! Seems that your pain is extra-cardiac and I would recommend you first to exclude a digestive disorders. So you should consult with an internist or gastroenterologist; to perform a careful physical exam and some blood tests and eventually some imagine studies. For the moment you could try any PPIs such as omeprasol or pantoprasol, etc. Just go and have a medical check up.
Hope to have been helpful to you. greetings! Dr. Iliri
