Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thank you for contacting HCM for your query. In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist for this. Chest pain in asthma can be due to many causes like infection, poor control of asthma , GERD etc. So consult pulmonologist and get done chest x ray and PFT and discuss medicines you are taking for asthma control. GERD and asthma can precipitate each other. So control of both simultaneously needed. GERD is gastroesophageal reflux disease in which acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus due to malfunction sphincter and cause symptoms.
