Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Shortness Of Breath

My 16 year old son went to ER with chest pains and shortness of breath. He is very active in sports. The chest pains began during a baseball game. His ECG was abnormal but his chest xrays were normal. We seen his primary doctor today and they said he is healthy and can resume physical activity; however, as a parent, I would feel more comfortable having a specialist state it was safe for him to return to sports. I understand this is a tricky subject but any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

thanks for asking your question
i completely understand your problem
as per you have written ecg was abnormal ,the the treating physician should have ordered a 2d echo and if that also comes normal then a spirometry to know the lung health and state of lungs.sob with chest pain can happen in many diseases like bronchial asthma ,pulmonary embolism, obstructive airway diseases, and restrictive or occupational diseases. it will be better f you can refer a pulmonologist.

thanks/regards
feel free to ask questions
may god bless your family with good health
