Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Discomfort

Hello, I am having a bit of minor chest pain that occassionally comes up in the center of my chest, and sides of my chest. They do not seem to be tight or severe, just occassional discomfort and spikes. I am fatigued (most likely from lack of sleep) but my heart beat appears to be normal at the moment.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely costochondritis.Pain while palpation on rib area is characteristic.Any how it is better to have an ECG and chest X ray if needed to rule out the cardiac cause to be on safe side. For costochondritis i treat my patients with anti inflammatory gels of diclofenac or nimusulide for local application.I advise the tablets of same for oral intake if pain is more.If no improvement then i advise local injection of corticosteroids or anesthetic.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
