Suggest Treatment For Chest Infection

I have had a chest infection sinced the end of december iam an asthmatic and also had TB 7 years ago. I have had two courses od antibiotics and a course of steroids. I am just as bad today as 2 months ago. I come good not better then I get sick again. I know I should rest but I have an olympic distance triathlon in 3 weeks. What would you suggest?
