Suggest Treatment For Chest And Back Pain

During my evening walk, my heart was beating so hard and fast. I made it back home and it continued along with chest pain, back pain and a little dizziness. It s been about an hour and now I feel drained, but my heart is still beating abnormal. Should I go to the hospital?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Sudden variations in blood pressure or electrolyte changes can give such symptoms. It is usual for those who are taking energy drinks or excess coffee. It is better to check your blood pressure and ecg to be on safe side. ECG will be helpful to rule out any heart problems like arrhythmia or electrolyte problems. Avoid excess coffee and energy drinks if you take. Lipid profile should be checked also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
