Suggest Treatment For Chalazion On Eyelid

I have a chalazion on one of my eyelids. It has been there for about 6 months. I tried warm compresses to no avail. Can it last of longer than a year or never go away by itself? I have surgery scheduled on it this month, but I would prefer not to do it.

Only treatment for calazion is minor opd surgery of scooping it out. For you it is better to go for surgery. Do not avoid it.
