I can understand your concern for the cellulitis problem over the elbow joint since last week. After analyzing the query with best diligence I can make out that you have got either the infection at the injection site or a reaction after the depo-medrol injection. There is more possibility of the former condition. In my patients with your kind of problem I prefer to give a course of oral antibiotic such as cefadroxyl or ciprofloxacin for 5-7 days as per the sensitivity or presumptively on the basis of the condition of the skin. I also suggest taking a pain killer anti-inflammatory tablet such as paracetamol or diclofenac. It is of much help in reducing the inflammation and pain of the affected area. It is a must to visit a doctor to get best guidance personally. All the best.
