Suggest Treatment For Cellulitis Infection In A Diabetic Wound

Cellulitus infection through a diabetic wound. Cellulitus is regressing through antibiotics oral and intravenus at home. Wound looks good. The calf and upper leg though not painful have thickened but the ankle and foot normalized. Sugars normally controlled but in the hospital a few weeks ago they were just over 200. Has it spread to other areas and/or will thickening ( its not red just thick go down) go down. Very tip of big toe is infected (on vacromycyn drip 1500 3xday and Leviquin 750 1xday)

Hello,

I am quite empathetic to your condition.

In your case you requite the control of diabetes first. Till the time there is no control of sugar then you will have the same problem again and again.

I suggest you to meet a surgeon and get a proper course of antibiotic to take care of the condition.

Do not forget to maintain the sugar.

All the best.
