so I have been having a heart arrythemia, along side with a high bp, and light headedness when I stand from a sitting position. While im sitting down my bp tends to be stable but the minute I stand I feel like im about to faint and my bp and heart rate instantly rises and im forced to sit back down. I have anemia and have been diagnosed with anxiety and having a heart mermor. Any ideas?

Thanks for contacting with your health concern

1. As there is the presence of 'silent' cardiovascular abnormalities [ since you are asymptomatic apart from orthostatic hypotension it may be a sign of coronary artery disease [CAD] thus remain under the constant and regular supervision of Cardiologist.

2. I would recommend you the check with
- ECG
- Holter's monitoring
- Cardiac ECHO and
- Stress test and only if the results are negative your anxiety could be stress related or because of anemia.

PS. It could be the other way: i.e. irregular heartbeat [arrhythmia] is causing significant fear/anxiety and the further worsening of the symptoms.

3. Always contact your cardiologist before making any changes to your therapy.
