Suggest Treatment For Canker Sore On The Soft Palate Of The Mouth
I have what I think is a canker sore on the soft palate of my mouth , but its been here for two weeks and has a white ring around the rim and not a red ring. it hurt a lot for the first week and a half but not anymore. does that mean its healing or is it possibly cancerous? ive heard early mouth cancer doesnt hurt.
It looks like an abscess on your soft palate that can be due to infection and if now it is not painful then it is probably healing.. It does not look like cancerous and will heal soon.. You should start gargling with antiseptic mouthwash so that the remaining infection will subside. Do warm saline gargles and take soft meals so that the sore does not get irritated any more that can cause pain again.. See for another one week and if it doesn't resolve get a clinical examination done by an Oral Physician..
Hope this helps.. Regards.
