Suggest Treatment For Burning Sensation On The Palms
It has now been just under 12 months that I have suffered from heating/burning sensation on my palms and soles of my feet. This discomfort, at times quite frustrating, becomes most painful and irritating when I go to sleep. I have been to my Neurologist twice who says I am going through what they call peripheral neuropathy. He has prescribed Gaba Pentin which I take 2-3 a day which helps me slightly. I am not diabetic and the last 3 blood results show both my sugar levels normal, my B12 content excellent...... please show me a way to ease my discomfort.... please

Understanding your concern.As per your query you have burning sensation on the palms . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondolysis , cervical radicculopathy , low iron or glucose level . I would also suggest you to get your serum B 12 estimation and thyroid hormones , as lack of vitamin B12 causes tingling and numbness and burning in palm . Moreover allergic reaction and chemical exposure can also cause such symptoms .I would suggest you to drink plenty of water , avoid bending forward , apply cold compresses on arm and consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like blood test and take history to rule out side effects of many drug . Doctor may prescribe iron supplement or refer you to orthopedic surgeon for cervical problem or endocrinologist for diabetes problem . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for nerve problem .
