Suggest Treatment For Bump In The Pubic Region
Hi I need a doctors responce....just a few days ago I had a bump appear in my pubic area...it was not open like herpes....but it was kinda dark and hard . After a couple of days it went down...im not sure what it is. Its only one bump...not multiple ones...its no puss or anything coming out of it.. could some1 help?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having a furuncle.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
