Suggest Treatment For Bulging Discs In Cervical And Lumbar Spine
I have been prescribed Lortab for pain control. I have taken these for several years. I would like to know what medicine I could take, non-narcotic. I have bulging discs in my cervical and lumbar spine. I don t want to stay on narcotics. Can you advise a medicine I could take other than Lortabs. I m a nurse and I don t want to take these the remainder of my life. Surgery is not an option. I also have several stomach ulcers.

As there is h/o stomach ulcers it is better to avoid any kind of pain reliever medicine as it might precipitate your stomach ulcers.
If necessary take simple paracetamol with omeprazole.
Go for short way diathermy, physiotherapy and traction regularly.
Ok and take care.
