Over a week ago i slipped and fell on concrete steps. I landed on my lower back, well above my posterior superior illiac crest (near waist line). I landed more on my left posterior side (not directly on spine). I felt it was primarily musculature and so did not get it looked at. 3 days later sever bruising began to occur along with rigidity. Still 9 days later there are still severe bruising lateral and medial to the point of pain and still rigidity. The bruising at the site of contact has diminished. It hurts to have weight on the area, but does not hurt to walk or carry objects. Is there a chance of greater injury (ie. fracture, or kidney damage)?
