Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

i have had bronchitis now for about 2 weeks I am now taking levofloxacin for it. I don t see any improvement now i wonder if this Levofloxacin is related to penicillin. How am I going to get rid of this horrible cough with yellow flem.. I had a chest x-ray that didn t show pneumonia

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done PFT (pulmonary function test).
As PFT is must to diagnose bronchitis.
It will also tell you about severity of it.
And treatment for bronchitis is entirely based on severity.
So get done PFT.
And levofloxacin is totally different then penicillin. So no need to worry much.
I think,in addition to levofloxacin,you will require antihistamines, anti inflammatory, inhaled bronchodilators etc.
So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
