Suggest Treatment For Breast Pain Due To Accumulation Of Milk
my wife is suffering with pain in her breast due to accumlactin of milk in her breast. as she is lactative mother of a one month baby. i have consulted with dr also. she had prescribed perinorm. lactare and stat dose of lasix tab. so can u suggest me that is it a gud diagnose or not

If there is breast pain due to milk accumulation, feed the baby every 2 hrly from alternate breast.. Apply hot fomentation and express the rest of the milk after the baby is fed adequately.. This will reduce the hardness and pain in the breast.. Stop perinorm and lactare.. This will increase the breast milk causing furthur engorgement.. For pain, paracetamol tablet can be taken..
