Hello and welcome to HCM,
Release of fat globules in blood can lead to embolism and obstruction of small blood vessels especially in lung vasculature.
When severe the fat globules can obstruct all terminal blood channels and thus can prove to be fatal.
Treatment is mainly supportive and steroids are mainstay of treatment.
You need to consult your treating doctor.

Thanks and take care
