Suggest Treatment For Body Pain, Headache And Profuse Sweating

My daughter has had a headache , aching neck, whole body ache, sometimes light headed when standing up, chills and sweating . Started after getting home from last evening. She also has had an open blister on her finger from a burn that has broken open and is now scab bed over. She has been working as a ba tender wearing a band aid during this healing process. Should I be cornered about a possible bacteria infection? I hear headache and neck pain and possible fever and I worry about things like menengitis

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is not likely that the symptoms are related to the lesion on the hand, it is more likely due to new onset viral or bacterial infection

The fact that the lesion has scab covering it means that it is healing. If it was worsening then there would be redness, swelling and increasing tenderness of the finger.

The most common viral infection would be cough/cold or the flu.She can monitor for additional symptoms.

Right now, she should rest and use fluids. Treat symptoms as they occur.

I hope this helps
