your friend has done a wrong thing. now get your eye examined by eye doctor to exclude corneal injury or effect on macula. accordingly treatment is to be recommended. antibiotic eye drop is to be applied for 5days. if there is macular burn then damage is to be assessed and progress of recovery is to be watched.both possible injury part to be kept under observation and recovery is to be watched.
