I am having blood in my stool, not necessary my stool, Im feeling wet in my butt I go to the bathroom and clean myself and their is a little stool with blood in it. What can that be? I am really worried I amgoing to be 60 years old new July 6,2015 but I don t look it.
If I were your treating doctor I would have advised you for a battery of tests like blood for hemoglobin, CBC Liver function test and test for bleeding disorders, Proctoscopy or colonoscopy if need be.
Meanwhile have lots of fluids and fruits juices to.maintain good hydration. You may require Iron infusion or blood transfusion depending upon the amount of blood loss. Avoid constipation by taking laxatives or stool softeners Have lots of fresh fruit and raw or steamed vegetables Maintain good hygiene and keep it clean Sitz bath twice daily will.definitely help you Best wishes
