Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stool And Loss Of Appetite In A Child
My two year old took a long (2.5 hour nap) this evening and woke up with no appetite and not wanting to stand up. He is not crying, does not have a fever but did not want to eat very much. He had an ear infection recently and was also constipated with a tiny bit of blood in his stool the other day. Do we need to take him to the emergency room or should we wait until tomorrow and go to the pediatrician?

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. Sorry to hear the trouble you are having. Since the baby is not in distress, I would wait and have him seen by your pediatrician. His behavior of not wanting to eat could be lethargy because of the recent infection or due to the constipation. I hope this helps, good luck.
