Suggest Treatment For Blood Discharge After Bowel Movement

Hello. I have noticed in the past couple of months when I wipe my butt, there was some blood on the toilet paper. I m a 31 year old male. The past few days it has been very painful, burning sensation every time I have a bowel movement. I suspect it to be a hemmoroid so I bought some preparation H. It still hurts really bad. Any other ways to remove a hemmoroid?

Hi,

First of all we have to be sure its hemorrhoid for which ideally you should get a rectal examination done. The clue to hemorrhoids is that the blood is bright red. To treat hemorrhoids you need to have healthy bowel movement for which you should take isabgol in warm water before sleep. Also you can use anovate gel. If that does not help, the doctor would inject a sclerosing agent in your piles. But you should get a rectal examination done first.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ankit
