Suggest Treatment For Blood Clots In Arm

My mother had a picc line removed on oct 19th from her left arm, she was diagnosed with a blood clot in that arm about a week ago, she was given heprin in the hospital for about 24 hours and was taken off due to severe bleeding from a diverticulum in her bladder. Do the clots in arms break away and travel and is their any other treatment available

Looking at the query, my comments are as follows:
1. The blood clot in arm diagnosis is called as "superficial thrombophlebitis"
2. Heparin is usually the choice.
3. NSAIDs can be taken, if it is painful.

The clots are very small and they get lysed. It is nothing to worry about. The clots would be minute and would not obstruct any vessel.
