I burnt my leg yesterday ie 24/10/2015 on a bike silencer. It has become black and a blister has formed. I have removed the water from the blister by using a hot pin. What should I do now? Can u suggest an ointment which will help it heal fast? Also will boroline help?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have blood blister on leg . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query atopic dermatitis , porphyria cutanea tarda ,dermatitis , herpetiformis , herpes simplex and pemphigus vulgaris . I would suggest you clean that area with betadine , keep it dry and clean , take anti histamine like bendryl and apply over the counter antibiotics cream . If condition persist then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test and take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment , anti bacterial or anti viral depending upon the diagnosis .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
