Suggest Treatment For Blocked Tear Ducts

Hello, For the past four days I have been tearing up constantly in the corner of my left eye. After reading through numerous articles I believe I might have a blocked tear duct, is this possible? My eye is also swollen & slightly painful to touch when I touch the corner of my eye. Any information would be helpful, thank you! Best, Matty

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The symptoms you describe suggest an eye infection or a local eye irritation.Blocked tear duct is less likely as for the past 4 days your have been tearing.I will suggest you see an Ophthalmologist for examination and better management.Steroid drops and antibiotic eye drops may help you feel better. This will be judged by the Ophthalmologist after examination.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
