General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific.
Noted your history of hydrocele operation before 2 years by a Chief Surgeon. The pain is still persistent in spite of taking lots of medicines.
Such a pain after surgery of hydrocele indicate nerve entrapment.
You have to talk to your Doctor and ask for such medicines as Amytryptiline or gabapentine ot pregabaline.
This will help to cool down the nerves.
Another possibility is to re-do the incision and stitch it again and see the results. This will cut of the offending nerves or release them.
I find this answer helpful
