Suggest Treatment For Bells Palsy

I was afflicted with Bell s Palsy a year and a half ago. My left eye use to stay open all the time. I had to wear goggles to shampoo my hair. Now the same eye closes shut all the time when I eat, swallow or drink. Will I have to have surgery on eye lids or will it eventually heal on it s own. My slur isn t bad any more and my lips are pretty much gone to almost normal. It feels like a nerve next to my nose and at the corner of my mouth on the left side feel distorted.

your bell,s palsy effect facial nerve due to lagophthalmos exposure keratis takes place. Should have used artificial tear eye drop. and neosporine eye ointment at night. in case of problem eye lid should have been chastised. now in residual effect mandibular branch might have been effected. you may consult a neuro surgeon for definite diagnosis and treatment.
