Suggest Treatment For Bad Smell In Nose Caused Due To Sickness

I was sick for a few days (cough, sore throat, headache, and stuffed nose), and now that it s about over, I have this chemical smell in my nose, somewhat like bleach. It s been like the almost three days. It gets worse when I eat, and the stronger the odor of the food, the stronger the chemical smell in my nose is. It is hard to eat because everything smells of it and it makes my nose sting. What is this problem and how do I stop it?

Hello

The bad smell generally follows a viral infection , the virus tends to damage the smell organs in the nose , causing the bad smell. This will generally resolve in 7-10 days and i dont think you have to worry about it.There is no medication at present so you just have to give your body sometime to heal.

Take care!
