Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Due To Osteoarthritis Of The Lumbar Spine

I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the lumbar spine, degeneration of the L5-S1 disc and osteoarthritis of the SI joints. I am a 53 year old female who loves to hike, swim, yoga etc. but suffer from continual pain everyday. I need a pain medication stronger than Alleve that will allow me to continue to be active. Any advice?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. You can try a combination of Ibuprofen- Codeine (200 mg/ 12.8 mg), unless you're not alergic to them. For prolonged use you have to consult your primary care Doctor or Pharmacist, codeine may become addictive. Hope this answers your question.
