Hi!!
You should keep your child 's body as moisturized as possible. Use a good quality moisturizing lotion on his body frequently and liberally. Avoid using harsh soaps, avoid hot water for bathing, avoid room heaters which reduce the moisture content of the room, cotton clothes should be in direct contact with his skin , avoid him from extremes of temperature and dusty environment, keep him away from pets. These all measures will prevent the relapse of atopic dermatitis as there is no permanent cure for it but it has been seen that in 90 percent of the children it resolves by 14-15 years of age. Till that age you have to take extra care of your child.
