Suggest Treatment For Asthma & Wheezing Problem

Hi. I'm 21 years old. I have a history of asthma. I was having a wheezing sound every morning but too reluctant to use my puffer since I would have develop dry cough. I don't know if I should continue using my puffer since I ain't sure if the coughing was relevant to the use of puffer.

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern. At present you are having exacerbation of asthma.
And yes, you should definitely take your inhaled treatment (puffers).
Asthma is chronic allergic inflammatory disease of airways. Inhaled treatment is the best treatment and hence should be continued without interruption.
At present, you should consult pulmonologist and get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT will tell you about severity of the disease.
And treatment of asthma is based on severity only.
You may need additional inhaled bronchodilators.
Oral treatment with combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs are also useful in your case.
So start regular treatment for asthma, you will definitely improve.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
