hello mam, i am confused as to does your husband has arthritis or you are just assuming that he has arthritis. If he has arthritis and has tear in the shoulders than you should visit a good orthopedic surgeon. they will start him on DMARDs drugs. If he is experiencing any pain you can provide him with pain killers and give his shoulder and elbow a warm hot water towel massage. that will reduce his pain. please donot start taking medications other than pain killers on your own. wait for the result as mri will detect any soft tissues injury .
thank you
