Suggest Treatment For Anxiety Disorder And Rapid Heart Rate

Hi! I'm a 34yr old with a history of anxiety.. I recently had an EKG and Echo they came back great but I'm having bad Taquicardias. My resting heart rate is around 85 to 95. I once used Inderal 10mg 1 a day and it helped and I'm thinking on going back to it for awhile. Could this be anxiety related or should I be worried that something else is wrong with my heart? Chest XRay and Blood work all good too. Thanks so much!

I read your question and I understand your concern.

In terms of treatment you can be treated with Inderal or other drugs belonging to the same beta blocker class. Anxiety plays a role ofcourse and it must be addressed. Also if you haven't done so I suggest to have some routine blood tests including thyroid function which if overactive can cause both anxiety and tachycardia.

I hope to have been of help.
