Suggest Treatment For Anemia After An Ankle Injury

I have been having a problem with anemia since last may. I am 65 years old and have never been anemic before. I have had to increase my iron from one tablet to 2 tablets and my iron saturation is still dropping. My hemoglobin also dropped. I had a fall in April and broke my ankle and was wondering if this could have anything to do with that fall?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is anemic condition hemoglobin coming to low then underlying cause of this is very important and this need to be managed instead of taking iron therapy some time this could be due to some chronic infection or some bleeding crises and these needs to be ruled out, take care and have a nice day.
