Suggest Treatment For Anal Fissures

Hi, i have a fissures from last 5 years, now since few days it has become a too painful. Last time doctor suggested to remove the fissures but i was pregnant and able to manage with it. What should i do now and which doctor to consult? is there any anal cancer occurs due to fissures?

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Your life style suffers because of fissure....

If symptoms are trouble some than better to consult surgeon and surgical correction done....

Usually anal fissure doesn't directly leads cancer....

But if per rectal bleeding since long time present than cancer should be ruled out prior to therapy for fissure

Release of anal sphincter and botulinum toxin injection are some of the procedure that can be done in fissure...

Meanwhile more fiber diet and stool softener needed for that..

Drink more water and avoid excess spicy foods

Avoid straining at stool

Consult surgeon for examination and than get surgical correction for fissure...
