Sir recently a month back I had a peri anal abcess of a small size and done i&d as it still has pain n slight pus from it ..as I consulted my doc he said for sitting long its getting lk that ... As my profession needs long time sitting so plz suggest me a solution (I am a homoeo doc )
If even after a month your abscess wound is discharging pus, I suspect the formation of a perianal fistula. A fistula is an abnormal tract that forms between the anal canal and the skin outside. I would suggest you to take a second opinion from another surgeon and plan a surgery to close the fistula. Meanwhile, please keep the area hygienically clean.
As a long term measure, I would advice you to increase the amount of fibres in your diet by making it a habit to eat adequate amounts of salads, vegetables and fruits. This will make it easier to pass stools.
Hope this helps! Please feel free to write back for any more questions that you may have.
